Ordering information

Ordering a sample

To ensure you are able to see and feel the quality of our stationery, we strongly recommend that prior to booking in any order with us that you request a sample of your chosen design. You can purchase a sample quickly and easily in any of our designs here

Booking a production slot

If you are happy with your sample and have decided on the exact details of your chosen design, please contact us by phone or e-mail to agree on suitable dates for delivery of your stationery. Please note that if you also choose to order "on the day" stationery such as order of ceremonies and table numbers/names, you will likely need two separate slots. In general it is advised that wedding invitations should be sent to your guests 4-6 months prior to your wedding day. The production process including creation and confirmation of proofs to completion of your full order can take between 4-6 weeks depending on our schedule at the time. Please bear this in mind when placing your order with us.

As all our stationery is hand-crafted and made to order, please try to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Orders will be booked on a first come, first served basis so please check with us to ensure we have availability for your time-frame. 

Proofs

Once you have booked your dates with us, you will need to complete an order form. Here you will provide us with your specific details including choice of wording templates and other customised options in order for us to make your proofs. Please note that if you have ordered wedding invitations as well as "on the day" stationery, these parts of the form may need to be completed and sent back to us separately according to your different delivery dates. 

One Proof that is customised to your individual specifications will be created electronically for each part of a stationery set i.e. an invitation, menu or order of ceremony etc and e-mailed to you for your confirmation. If you have not previously ordered a sample in your chosen design and would like to receive a physical make up of your proof invitation/order of ceremony/menu etc (rather than an electronic copy), these can be sent to you; prices will vary depending on the item being produced so please enquire for costings. 

Amendments can then be made to your proofs if necessary until you are completely happy with the final results. Electronic proofs will be e-mailed within 1 week of your order form being completed or if you have chosen to have handmade proofs made up, these will be shipped to you within 2 weeks of receiving payment (for proofs only) and your completed order form. Your proofs will come with paperwork that you will need to sign and either post back to us or scan/take a photo of and e-mail us. Without your signature of acceptance for the proofs, we cannot proceed with or in turn, ship your order to you.

Please note that if you are ordering "on the day" stationery, we will require these sections of the order form completed and sent to us in addition to payment for any proofs you may wish to have sent to you at least 1-2 months prior to your delivery date. This is to allow sufficient time for proofs to be completed and any amendments made prior to production.

Payment and shipping

It is very easy to order a generic sample in our stock colour ivory with black wording. Please find your design here and process your request via PayPal. For custom orders (and proofs), please contact us to discuss payment options. Once you are happy with your proofs, we will require the full balance for your order before we can commence production. It is very important that you are completely satisfied at this stage as once full payment is received and we have begun production, we cannot offer any refund due to each piece being custom made to your specifications. Our preferred payments are either a bank transfer or cheque. We do not use PayPal for full orders.

Samples and proofs will be shipped to you in bubble wrap-lined padded envelopes to protect them from damage on their journey to you. For complete orders, we usually use Royal Mail or Parcelforce if this is found to be less expensive. We will contact you as soon as your stationery is ready for shipping as a signature will be required for delivery of your stationery. Please ensure that you select a date where a designated person can be present to collect your order.
